Mindray North America is an established global leader in the provision of innovative, accessible, and focused medical technologies and clinical solutions. Firmly committed to its mission of “placing health care within reach”, the company has remained dedicated to innovation in the design and manufacture of patient monitoring, life support, in-vitro diagnostics, and advanced medical imaging systems since its inception in 1991.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Mindray leads the way with significant research and development capabilities coupled with advanced marketing and service networks worldwide. With 42 subsidiaries and branch offices in 32 countries including North and Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and 32 branch offices in China, the company has fulfilled its original mission to “share medical technologies with the world.” To date, Mindray has nearly 7,500 employees throughout the world.
To enhance its presence in the medical ultrasound arena, Mindray acquired Silicon Valley-based Zonare Medical Systems in 2013. It set out to change the landscape of medical imaging by leveraging the combined technologies of the two companies and to advance clinical possibilities in product lines it offers. For example, Zonare’s ZONE Sonography® Technology (ZST) is a unique and propriety approach to image creation that takes ultrasound to the next generation. Relying on software to create each image frame pixel-by-pixel, this technology increases image quality and patient throughput. Mindray, on the other hand, developed mQuadro imaging architecture to incorporate the latest in digital signal processing and graphics display technologies into their high-end systems. Combined with cutting-edge workflow and ergonomics, Mindray ultrasound platforms offer intuitive, easy to operate user interfaces for high quality imaging performance and efficient patient examinations.
