Zilper Trenchless is a startup out of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a novel trenchless technology to install/replace water pipes without digging a trench, minimizing disruption to surface traffic while leading up to 40% savings.
Our lead product is a machine which uses a novel proprietary technology to install or replace pipes underground without needing to dig a trench. The company has already built and tested a first prototype (MVP) in a real project, achieving outstanding results that sparked the attention of potential clients, manufacturers, and other competing companies. In 2018, Zilper Trenchless was awarded in the MIT 100K “Launch” Competition, MIT Sandbox Program and MIT DesignX competition. In 2019, the company was awarded at Imagine H2O Demo Day and Rice Business Plan Competition and announced the sale of the first commercial prototype for an important piping project.
