Wood Pro was started in 1992 with one location on Evans Drive in Stoughton MA. From humble beginnings, they have grown to 5 locations strategically located throughout the Northeast. Although there are many chapters in their story, it has always been about people; their employees, vendors, and customers.
Wood Pro was started with a focus on flooring contractors, selling them unfinished flooring, as well as all the supplies they needed to do their jobs on a daily basis. Over time, new locations were added in Auburn MA, Salem NH, Warwick RI, and Albany NY. During this period of growth, they added many other product categories such as Prefinished Flooring, Tile Flooring & Supplies, Sanding and nailing machines, Laminate flooring, and Waterproof Vinyl. The addition of these lines enabled them to expand into the floor covering dealer segment. In 2006, Wood Pro acquired Custom Wholesale Floors, a 35-year-old company with 5 locations in both Florida and Georgia. The Custom Wholesale Floors, or CWF, acquisition gave them coverage in another strong region of the US flooring market, the Southeast. Along with some synergies provided by the acquisition, they also gained a private label brand called Forest Accents.
