Watchup is the first streaming news service that brings together technology and video journalism in a convenient app available on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Fire TV and Nintendo Wii U. Users can customize their daily newscasts to follow over 160 local, national and international news channels and more than a dozen news categories. Featured in the App Store, Watchup puts the world's most trusted news channels in one place. Major news outlets such as CBS News, Fox News, and Vox have partnered with Watchup to deliver their content on the app.

Watchup was incubated at StartX, the Stanford startup accelerator, and was named one of the Best Apps of 2014 on Google's Play Store and a finalist for the Webby awards in 2015. It is also the first news streaming app featured on Nintendo's Wii U.

Watchup's mission is to lend a variety of viewpoints through numerous news channels and topics. The world is rapidly changing and there isn't a single news channel that understands it all. Watchup helps others navigate these changes with its comprehensive news offerings and easy to use app. The app was created with the purpose of serving the modern news junkie: always on the go and on the grind. Our team values journalism, innovation, hard work, the user experience, and… Italian espresso.

Watchup's main office is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, just a few miles from Stanford University where the company was incubated. We also have a satellite office in Cluj, Romania, one of the best tech hubs in Europe. Other employees report from multiple locations around the world including New York City and Rome.
