Rockley’s technology miniaturizes spectrometer functionality that was previously only available in benchtop clinical machines and is orders of magnitude more accurate than LED sensors commonly used in wearables today. Rockley provides customers with a full-stack solution, which includes co-packaged hardware devices, biosensing algorithms, firmware and AI analytics to provide meaningful and actionable insight.
The ability to bring laboratory precision diagnostics to the wrist and other form factors will significantly enhance consumer awareness of their health and wellbeing, enable more convenient chronic disease management at lower cost, and democratize the monitoring of bio-vitals enabling more remote and underserved populations the ability to achieve better healthcare outcomes.
Rockley has also used its integrated photonics technology to deliver best-in-class chipsets for high-speed data communications and machine vision applications, including LiDAR. Its technology is protected by over 120 patents and has attracted $390 million in funding over seven years of product development from a range of world-class health-tech and technology VCs, strategic investors and financial institutions.
