ProGlove develops smart gloves that enable manufacturing and logistics staff to work faster, safer and easier. Process steps can be documented hands free whilst instant feedback to its user is received. Therefore, ergonomics, efficiency and quality is improved.

WHY
We integrate the worker to the digitalized world as we believe that no matter how automated working steps become, workers will still stay a crucial part of the industrial process. Robots cannot substitute every step and system, therefore wearable devices are the connecting point between humans and systems.

HISTORY
We are a Munich-based company founded in December 2014 by former BMW and IDEO employees. After becoming third in the Intel “Make It Wearable” Challenge our smart glove has already been recognized by BMW, Festo, Siemens, and other Board Executives. Even German chancellor Mrs. Merkel keeps track of the development of the glove. Our startup has successfully closed its first funding round of $2.2 million in late May, led by Intel Capital, GETTYLAB and Bayern Kapital.

Today ProGlove consists of a team of 27 creative minds, such as tinkerers, managers, creative designers, IT geniuses, production heroes, sales giants, marketing titans and figure jugglers.
