Two operating companies – Pinova, which supplies wood and gum rosin as well as polyterpene resin specialty chemicals, and Renessenz, a top producer of flavor and fragrance ingredients – form the core of a business that provides ingredients for thousands of products worldwide. Working with an exceptional management team, TorQuest invested in both businesses to build a world-leading natural specialty chemical business. In January 2016, TorQuest and its co-investors sold their interest in the company to Symrise AG.
