DC Chemical Co., Ltd. (now renamed OCI Company Ltd.) is a pioneer of the inorganic chemical industry in Korea, established in 1959. The company is a world class producer and marketer of a broad range of basic and specialty chemical and petroleum products, including soda ash, per-carbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium hydroxide and polysilicon. Excelsior realized this investment through a public market sale in 2007.
