NitroFix On a mission to reduce the global carbon footprint! Ammonia is the second-largest global chemical product. It is being used mainly for agricultural fertilizers (80%), but also as industrial materials, refrigerants, and additives. Recently, the utilization of ammonia as the energy carrier (secondary energy source) has attracted many interests. The current production method of ammonia emits 1.8% of the total CO2 emission!!! NitroFix developed an innovative production method, which emits Zero CO2. The process is based on an electrochemical reaction and is facilitated by a novel catalyst. The process uses nitrogen and water as reactants and is performed under ambient conditions with low over-potentials. Can be utilized in small, medium, or large facilities, using renewable energy to operate.
