ISIS designs, markets, produces and distributes a high quality product line of attractive, innovative and performance-oriented outdoor apparel complemented by a line of fashionable casual wear. ISIS was founded in 1998 by Poppy Gall and Carolyn Cooke who rode a chairlift together and shaped a shared a vision to create a line of technical outdoor apparel exclusively designed for women. Today, ISIS’ product is sold in a number of high profile retail channels including REI, Title IX, Coldwater Creek and Orvis.
ISIS was acquired by Kellwood, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of premier fashion brands and an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc., in January 2010. Prior to the exit transaction, Cairn Cross, Managing Director of FreshTracks, was an observer to ISIS’ Board of Directors.
