Imaginary is a Venture Capital Fund that invests in early–stage opportunities at the intersection of retail and technology in Europe and the US.
The vision for Imaginary is to support a new generation of entrepreneurs obsessed with the customer and challenging the status quo across every vertical.
The company counts beauty brand Glossier, sustainable fashion retailers Reformation and Everlane, hosiery company Heist, the size-inclusive denim label Good American founded by Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede, and Farfetch, the luxury online fashion platform, among its portfolio.
Natalie Massenet
In addition to her role as Managing Partner of Imaginary Ventures, Natalie is non-executive co-Chairman of Farfetch, the global e-commerce platform for luxury fashion. She was appointed to the role in February 2017 to work alongside the company's founder, José Neves, to help him grow the global brand and strengthen its partnerships in the fashion industry.
In 2000, Natalie founded the luxury fashion online retailer, Net-A-Porter, building it into one of the world’s most influential fashion businesses operating across retail, media and publishing platforms, and in the process shaping an extraordinary experience for the global luxury fashion consumer. In the year before Natalie stepped down from her role following the YOOX Net-A-Porter merger, the Net-A-Porter Group recorded net revenues of almost $1 billion.
