HoneyCoin is a cross-border FIAT and Crypto payments and monetization platform primarily focused on helping African creators and millenials monetize their audiences and manage their money built for scale and accessibility
How does it work?
HoneyCoin is built on it's own custom API layer that accepts 80% of all Mobile Money providers, Major Credit Cards, 5 CryptoCurrencies and 200+ banks. The API layer is also responsible for routing funds between accounts. When a user makes a payment on the app, the funds are routed to the receiver according to their available payout methods. For example a user in Kenya can receive money from a user in the US, and that money would be credited into their M-Pesa account. If the inverse were to happen the US user would be paid out into their bank account.
Why is HoneyCoin different?
At the moment, most players in the remittance and neobank space in Africa are focused on one or two of three things: bank accounts, crypto, or mobile money. At HoneyCoin we're not just focused on one of the three but all of them! We believe that everyone should be accommodated whether you have access to a bank or not, you're a crypto wallet kinda gal/guy or still only have access to a traditional bank HoneyCoin is built with everyone in mind. In short, we know that Africa is not a country, but we're making it feel like it one transaction at a time.
