HD is a Bangkok-based Healthtech startup offering accessible and affordable healthcare to patients via its surgery marketplace. As of January 2023, it powers over 1,500 healthcare providers and has been used by over 250,000 patients. It connects patients to hospitals, clinics, operating rooms, and surgeons while offering healthcare financing solutions to increase access to affordable care and surgeries. Thanks to HD, these patients can receive surgeries for up to 20% cheaper than market rates. By the end of 2024, HD is aiming to scale its services to 200 surgeries performed per quarter.
Sheji Ho is Co-Founder and CEO of HD. He studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Twente in the Netherlands and then completed his MBA at NYU Stern. He co-founded HD in 2019, having previously gained corporate and tech experience at companies like Dell, Groupon, Gilt, and Moda Operandi and entrepreneurial experience by co-founding aCommerce, Southeast Asia’s largest ecommerce enabler backed by KKR.
