H2 develops and commercializes energy storage systems of flow batteries (ESS) by means of the oxidation-reduction reaction of vanadium. The safety, economic feasibility, and lifespan are superior to those of existing lithium batteries. In particular, the energy storage capacity is its most outstanding competitive edge. It is expected that the demands for ESS will continue increasing as the businesses of new and renewable energy, electric cars, and smart grids are growing.
