In 2022, gMendel® obtained CE mark under EU IVDD, becoming the world’s first IVD certified technology for human genetic disorders utilizing long read sequencing technology and AI. gMendel® has achieved Proof of Concept to detect deletions, insertions, point mutations by doing whole exome sequencing or DNA region customisation by amplicons or probes.
