Banh Vàng is specialized in bread production and is the first industrial bakery in Vietnam. The company was set up in 2014 by a group of French financiers/bakery technology specialists linked to the Wendel group and a Vietnamese bakery chain (Patachou).
With the support of BIO’s investment in 2015, the company established a bakery line in the Saigon/Ho Chi Minh area with an initial capacity of 65,000 baguettes per day to sell to major local and international retail chains. Today, the company has a production capacity of up to 800,000 rolls or 100,000 baguettes per day, making it one of the biggest production centres in Vietnam.
The technical assistance supports the restructuring of Banh Vàng's finance department and the elaboration of a relevant debt restructuring and reporting action plan, to strengthen the company’s finance and administrative function. The TA will also help set up the mission of the company's prospective CFO.
After this TA, Banh Vang will rely on accurate financial data and forecasts. The financial and administrative functions will be designed and tooled with clean processes and procedures.
