Allegro Energy was founded in 2021 by a small group of scientists at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. The founders discovered a new type of water-based electrolyte that offers a wealth of advantages over "classic" electrolytes without compromising performance. The technology works in different types of energy storage devices such as supercapacitors and flow batteries. At Allegro Energy, we design customised energy storage solutions for a wide range of applications using our new, green technology. Allegro Energy sells its products and services mainly to large enterprises and commercial businesses. We bridge the gap between energy supply and demand in the coming renewable energy economy.
