The AI Education Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to bring critical and fundamental knowledge about artificial intelligence to communities who are on the front lines of automation and economic disruption.
Experts are calling AI ‘the new electricity,’ and a driver of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, yet the vast majority of schools in low income areas and communities of color lack an accessible AI curriculum.
AIEDU developed a self-guided online ‘Introduction to AI’ course, backed by the learning sciences, with culturally-relevant pedagogy and game- and project-based learning, and we are now in the process of rolling it out to schools across America. So far our pilots have reached students from 10 high schools in Ohio and Florida, and we are preparing to scale this curriculum significantly in Fall 2020.
If you are a teacher, parent, student, or potential partner, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by sending an email to team@aiedu.org.
